Reviews Round:

This review is for The Igen4500 Inverter Generator, not the dual-fuel version. When I received this device I opened the box and followed the super easy installation instructions, hit the start button, and boom, it went off on the first try.

We bought this unit to use with our 31' travel trailer. Our trailer is a 30 amp service with the Dometic 13.5k BTU A/C, and this is what I used for my first test/checkout. After about 8 hours of break-in, I replaced the oil in this unit with full synthetic motor oil and this process was not as difficult as some reviews complain.

Then I loaded it up, hitched up the travel trailer, and went into the woods last weekend. We put just over 30 hours on this generator this weekend and it never missed a beat. We had the AC on (November in Southeast Texas is still hot and humid at times), TV on, watching movies, charging mobile devices, refrigerator on the electric setting, multiple lights on, and in the microwave, some leftovers from Thanksgiving dinner and this generator doesn't have it on. issues. I've done a ton of research on generators and yes, HONDA is at the top of all the charts, but that price is insanely high. Beat the good reviews

The good reviews far outweighed the bad and so far I am very happy with my purchase. With regular oil changes and normal maintenance, I don't see any problems with this generator. Also, the only cool night we had we used the remote to turn the generator off and left the battery breaker with the red light on, almost 10 hours later we used the remote to turn it back on with no problem. Also, this unit is quiet, not completely quiet and yes, at higher loads it is of course louder than idle, but it's a big difference from old school open frame generators. I hope this review helps someone.

Conclusion:

Igen4500 Inverter Generator is the best value for features and power. After months of research, including a spreadsheet, the Igen4500 Inverter Generator became my first choice. Obviously, the 4500 watts in an inverter generator is a huge selling point for anyone.

Me too, but what really sets this unit apart from the competition is the SILENT 52dB operating volume. I really have a problem with loud noises so this sold me more.
